Flexibility is the keyword with our function facilities, catering for up to 150 people in a variety of function suites.

If you've got a reason to celebrate, or just need somewhere for a get-together, you can do it at The Spa Hotel. We can cater for any type of function, whether formal or informal, including weddings, birthdays (Sorry, no 18th's), anniversaries, christenings, funerals, family reunions, school and college reunions, retirements and other works do's, live bands, conferences, meetings, business seminars, presentations, exhibitions, fashion shows, rehearsals and even charity and community events. In fact, If you can think of it, we'll try and do it!!.

The Ballroom

The largest of our function suites, the recently refurbished Ballroom has a capacity of 150 people. The room is completely private and self contained with its own bar facilities, toilets, dance floor and a small stage area including facilities to house your D.J. and disco.

The ideal venue for your party, conference, or formal dining room for up to 110 people serving our extensive menus including our carvery.

We are also approved for the holding of civil marriages, so you can even get married in The Ballroom.

The smaller of our function suites, The Lorient Restaurant has a capacity of 50 people. The room is completely private with its own small dance floor. Full bar facilities and public toilets are located downstairs in Ridley's Bar.

The ideal venue for your smaller party, conference, or a formal dining room for up to 50 people serving our extensive menus including our famous carvery.

The Lorient Restaurant

Whatever the size, shape or form of your function, we offer a range of facilities for you to consider including food and drink, entertainment and a choice of function suites and room settings.

When having a function, food is a must. Choose from our extensive menus with formal three course sit down meals, buffets or even a simple Pie & Peas Supper. What ever your requirements, we will be happy to discuss them with you.


In addition to the full range of drinks available from our bars, you may wish to offer welcome drinks to greet your guests or maybe

put a bottle of wine on each table for your guests to enjoy with their meal. For any formal function, a toast is a must. Choose from a popular sparkling wine or our finest bottle of champagne.

Choose from a variety of function suites. The ballroom, with a capacity of 150, its own bar and disco facilities, The Lorient Restaurant, with a capacity of 50 and the Conservatory Restaurant with adjoining Ridley's Bar.

With so many different room layouts available, why not customise them with some finishing touches. Customers are welcome to supply their own decorations, balloons and flower arrangements etc. to give the function that personal feel.

Due to the flexibility of our function packages, it is very difficult to show a price list here. Please contact us and we will be happy to supply you with a price tailored to your individual and exact requirements.
