The Spa Hotel, with 25 restored traditional style en-suite bedrooms, is prominently situated overlooking the sea with unrivalled panoramic views of Hunt Cliff, the North Sea and beautiful surrounding countryside.

Enjoy a relaxing drink in Ridley's Bar where our friendly staff will be happy to serve you with a selection of Scottish & Newcastle ales. Our wide variety of menus, are available both lunchtimes and evenings, 7 days a week. Dine in our Conservatory Restaurant, again boasting magnificent views, and enjoy your meal in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Breathtaking scenery can be seen by walking through our own grounds, direct into a ninety acre wooded valley, with its own peaceful stream and colourful Italian Gardens, or by taking Saltburn's Miniature Railway from the beach throughout the Valley Gardens.

Saltburn-by-the-Sea has Britain's oldest water-based cliff lift transporting you to a town still retaining all the charm and elegance of its heyday as a thriving Victorian Resort. Also here is the Smugglers Heritage Centre, a lively testament to the more clandestine trade that once thrived along this coast.

Added to this, August sees Saltburn's very own lively and well supported International Folk Festival, with September bringing the annual American Classic Car Show and Vintage Car and Motorbike Hill Climb.

Within a short drive you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Explore the scenery by foot or by taking a nostalgic journey by steam train from Grosmont to Pickering through unspoiled countryside, most recently famous for the well known television series Heartbeat.

To the East, historic Staithes and Whitby, notorious for their Captain Cook connections, are both within 20 miles drive. To the West, Teesside Retail and Leisure Complex boasts a multi screen cinema, bowling arena, casino, bars, night clubs and eateries.
